Clam Eats Salt 2: Matt Eats Salt

This video was my knee-jerk response to the Clam Eats Salt video:

My YouTube comment: “Scientists will tell you that you should really feel bad for Matt. All that salt is not helping his blood pressure” is in reference to the mini-controversy regarding this video. You see, the Clam is not eating salt, but looking for a way to dig into the sediment as noted here.

Imagine his surprise when he tries to dig into the sea bed only to realize he’s on some dip shit’s kitchen table. If anything, it seems like the salt would just dissolve his clam flesh like a slug. Either way, I’m sure the clam was dinner a few hours later.

How to dig your car out of the snow in Jackson Heights, NYC

The winter of 2011 was pretty brutal for NYC. I’m from WNY so I wasn’t a big deal to me. But people in the city had a rough go of it. Just watch the people in Jamie Stuart’s Idiot With A Tripod.

So when I saw these ladies trying to dig out their car on 77th Street with these tiny snow shovels, I had to get out the HD Camera. I stuck my Kodak Zi8 out the window of my apartment and captured their efforts. I love how they keep trying to drive out with the job not nearly done.

I did took liberty in the edit to make it look like someone else snaked the parking spot from them, just as they were about to re-park. In reality, I think they were clearing the spot for a friend or family member.
