In the quiet town of Jupiter, Florida there once was a museum created by the legendary Burt Reynolds. It contained his personal memorabilia from his life in movies and welcomed visitors from around the world. But in 2012 this magical place was demolished to make way for a parking lot. Fortunately, my Dad and I were able to sneak a camera into the museum and document this amazing cultural oddity for future generations. Rest in peace, Bandit. 2018 – 5:37 – Dir. Matthew Ehlers In the Winter of 2013, Los Angeles artist Lauren Bon brought her photography exhibit Silver and Water to the George Eastman Museum. She and her fellow Metabolic Studios companions were treated to a narrated tour of Rochester by the beloved WNY artist, Rick Hock. Fortunately, Josh White documented the journey with his camera. Driving Around Rochester With Rick is a short documentary about our home town.
Eggwork Productions is proud to announce the Festival Premiere of Driving Around Rochester With Rick by filmmaker Matthew Ehlers. The film will be a part of the One Take Film Festival‘s Short Films, Long Lunch program on Friday May 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM at The Little Theater. From the One Take Film Festival Website: “Celebrating the best short non-fiction films from WNY filmmakers Grab and go lunches from Orange Glory Catering will be available for purchase at the Little Concession stand for a delicious mess-free lunch you can eat while you watch!”
