How strange must it be to be Nick Cave? I caught him and The Bad Seeds in Toronto this week and was blown away. Such a performer. Amazing band. What a voice. Almost as enjoyable as the show was the people watching. Like David Bowie, Nick Cave’s fan are a loyal bunch of ‘oddbods’. In the Winter of 2013, Los Angeles artist Lauren Bon brought her photography exhibit Silver and Water to the George Eastman Museum. She and her fellow Metabolic Studios companions were treated to a narrated tour of Rochester by the beloved WNY artist, Rick Hock. Fortunately, Josh White documented the journey with his camera. Driving Around Rochester With Rick is a short documentary about our home town.
