Hoover (Boulder) Dam ranks as one of America’s greatest visitors’ attractions. The Bureau of Reclamation maintains guide service facilities, and the dam and powerplant are open to the public 365 days a year. Visitors descend 528 feed into the huge dam, and pass through galleries such as shown. Through this main visitors’ gallery more than 2,500,000 persons have taken the guided tour of this world-famed structure.
